In this video Dr. Wess Stafford, President Emeritus of Compassion International, shares with a small group of Ethiopian Students how 22 years before, he had made a promise to bring help to Ethiopia.  The video was taken when he was in Ethiopia in 2008, graduating the first class of Ethiopia's Leadership Development Program - the final fulfillment of his promise.  Just after this video was shot Dr. Stafford returned to the United States and I (Benj) had the amazing privelege of hearing him share this story in a Compassion International staff meeting as he re-capped his trip.  This was my first encounter with Dr. Stafford and I was awed and humbled by this story and the literal compassion that overflowed from him.  It was, and still is, just one of the seeds God planted in my heart that led us to adopt from Ethiopia.  Enjoy!
